Refer to the 2007 Product Warranty Chart on page 2 to see which of the following warranty provisions apply to specific
fan models. Please note that high ceiling installations no longer are excluded from warranty. Casablanca’s goal is guaranteed
satisfaction in our long-term relationships with both consumers and dealers!

120-Day In-Home Warranty
Where available, Casablanca provides FREE In-Home Service for a period of 120 days from the date of purchase or
installation of all Casablanca brand fans, including Performance and Cosmopolitan Collection models!
Within the first 120 days: Casablanca will send a field representative to repair or replace the part(s) deemed
to be defective from the factory. Most Service Center contracts cover up to a 30-mile radius from their place of
business. (Casablanca will not cover repairs caused by improper installation.) After 120 days, the consumer
will be charged for the service call and labor. Casablanca will pay for all defective parts through the duration of
the parts warranty. NOTE: The consumer must provide a copy of the Proof of Purchase at the time of service.

Service Centers are required to submit a Proof of Purchase with each warranty claim.
If no In-Home Service is available: The consumer may send an in-warranty fan to Casablanca Factory
Service in Pomona, Calif., for repair, now with freight prepaid. The fan must be packaged properly and include a
copy of the Proof of Purchase. The fan will be repaired and returned to the consumer at no charge, freight prepaid.
30-Day Over-the Counter Exchange
Consumers can return a defective product to the dealer who sold the product within 30 days of the purchase or
installation. Under Casablanca’s updated, less complicated policy, the dealer will be issued credit provided that
the following conditions are met:
• Consumer must present serial number, Proof of Purchase, or proof of installation documenting that the
product was purchased or installed within 30 days.
• Product returned to Casablanca must be accompanied by an RGA form authorized by the Casablanca
sales representative.
• Product must be returned complete. If parts are missing, credit will be issued less the amount of the missing parts.
• Merchandise cannot be damaged due to improper packaging.
• Product must be returned freight-prepaid, and a freight bill must be submitted.
• Unauthorized returns of non-defective or unused products will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Lifetime Motor Warranty + One-Year Parts/Electronics Warranty

Casablanca brand fans, including all UL Damp and Wet rated models, now include a Lifetime Motor Warranty,
ensuring performance for generations. In addition, all fans include a one-year warranty on finish, component
parts, accessories, and electronics.
EMERSON®  WARRANTY

Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances and Home Office Products

This warranty shall not apply to:

Any defects caused or repairs required as a result of abusive operation, negligence, accident, improper installation or inappropriate use as outlined in the owner’s manual.

Any EMERSON product tampered with, modified, adjusted or repaired by any party other than SYNNEX Canada Limited or EMERSON’s Authorized Service Centres.
Damage caused or repairs required as a result of the use with items not specified or approved by SYNNEX Canada Limited, including but not limited to head cleaning tapes and chemical cleaning agents.
Any replacement of accessories, glassware, consumable or peripheral items required through normal use of the product including but not limited to earphones, remote controls, AC adapters, batteries, temperature probe, stylus, trays, filters, cables, paper, cabinet, cabinet parts, knobs, buttons, baskets, stands, shelves, cookware and cooking utensils.
Any cosmetic damage to the surface or exterior that has been defaced or caused by normal wear and tear.
Any damage caused by external or environmental conditions, including but not limited to transmission line/power line voltage or liquid spillage.
Any product received without appropriate model, serial number and CSA /cUL /cULus /cETL /cETLus markings.
Any products used for rental or commercial purposes.
Any installation, setup and/or programming charges.
Should this EMERSON product fail to operate during the warranty period, warranty service may be obtained upon delivery of the EMERSON product together with proof of purchase and a copy of this LIMITED WARRANTY statement to an Authorized EMERSON Service Centre. This warranty constitutes the entire express warranty granted by SYNNEX Canada Limited and no other dealer, service centre or their agent or employee is authorized to extend, enlarge or transfer this warranty on behalf of SYNNEX Canada Limited. To the extent the law permits, SYNNEX Canada Limited disclaims any and all liability for direct or indirect damages or losses or for any incidental, special or consequential damages or loss of profits resulting from a defect in material or workmanship relating to the product, including damages for the loss of time or use of this EMERSON product or the loss of information. The purchaser will be responsible for any removal, reinstallation, transportation and insurance costs incurred. Correction of defects, in the manner and period of time described herein, constitute complete fulfillment of all obligations and responsibilities of SYNNEX Canada Limited to the purchaser with respect to the product and shall constitute full satisfaction of all claims, whether based on contract, negligence, strict liability or otherwise.


CARRY-IN PARTS & LABOUR WARRANTY PERIODS:

· Audio Products: 1 Year (Remote Control, if applicable – 90 Days)

· Home Appliances: 1 Year

o Microwave Magnetron parts only additional 3 Years

o Refrigerator / Freezer Compressor parts only, additional 4 years

SYNNEX Canada Limited gives the following express warranty to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient for this EMERSON product, when shipped in its original container and sold or distributed in Canada by SYNNEX Canada Limited or by an Authorized EMERSON Dealer:


SYNNEX Canada Limited warrants that this product is free, under normal use and maintenance, from any defects in material and workmanship. If any such defects should be found in this product within the applicable warranty period, SYNNEX Canada Limited shall, at its option, repair or replace the product as specified herein. Replacement parts furnished in connection with this warranty shall be warranted for a period equal to the unexpired portion of the original equipment warranty.


This warranty shall not apply to:
